The unique Kindermusik curriculum nurtures your child’s musical interest through fun age-appropriate activities designed to develop musical skills and prepare your child for future success in music lessons as well as promoting cognitive, language, social and emotional development.   Every Kindermusik class promotes interactive learning through discovery, in an exciting world of singing, dancing, instrument exploration, musical stories, and games.

Each week your child will enjoy a variety of activities which introduce new concepts and reinforce prior experiences to build a firm foundation of musical skills one layer at a time. Children are guided on their musical journey by an experienced educator in a child-centered environment, learning at their own pace and in their own way. Home materials, home activities, and information about musical goals incorporated into the curriculum, help you to reinforce lesson concepts at home and establish daily and weekly music "practice" habits which will benefit your child in future music studies. Each age level includes multiple semesters so your child can begin as an infant and continue to age 7 without missing a semester or repeating curriculum.

All fees must be paid in full with registration.

Materials and tuition must be paid in 2 separate checks, both made payable to UGA School of Music.

Materials will be ordered on the registration deadline date. Registration deadlines are set so materials can be ordered and available at the first class. Late registrants will NOT receive their materials in the first class.

There are no refunds for materials once they have been ordered. There are no refunds for tuition except for extreme circumstances.
